Mark My View started in September 2025 because I got tired of shouting into the Social media algorithm. So I built a place where my stories don’t get buried or not shared.

This isn’t journalism. It’s not a blog, either. It’s just me — Mark Earl — telling true stories the way I’d tell them if we were sitting on the porch. No polish, no pressure, no pretending to be someone I’m not.

I write the way I talk:
• A little sarcastic
• Mostly honest
• Sometimes tired
• Always hopeful
• And every now and then… accidentally deep

You’ll find Bible stories here, but not the flannelgraph version. You’ll get some history too, but without the lectures or political slant. And you’ll get everyday life — the Midwest kind — with all its weird, funny, frustrating, and human moments.
